CLARKSBURG -- A Noble County woman was sentenced Tuesday to a year and a day in prison on a federal firearms charge in West Virginia.
Amy S. Lambert-Shuster, 41, of Caldwell, was sentenced after pleading guilty in September to one count of aiding and abetting the unlawful transfer of a machine gun, according to a release from U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia Bill Powell.
The release said Lambert-Shuster admitted to transferring an AR15-type firearm in January 2019 in Ritchie County.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen L. Vogrin prosecuted the case on behalf of the government. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigated. Senior U.S. District Judge Irene M. Keeley presided.
