¯ A deputy responded Thursday to 3747 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, to a report of Elton D. Hart overdosing. Hart was stabilized and transported for medical attention. Deputies located used syringes along with multiple sealable baggies and small cotton swabs. Additionally, some of the syringes contained water and blood. Hart was reported to have been in the bathroom in the area of where the syringes were discovered when he collapsed. A white powdery residue was discovered on a sink counter along with a small sealable bag, multiple small cotton swabs and a container of water. A summons is being requested for Elton D. Hart, 45, on a charge of possessing drug abuse instruments.
¯ A deputy began an investigation Thursday into a breaking and entering in Dunham Township. This case remains under investigation.
¯ Deputies were dispatched Friday to the Dollar General, 4530 State Route 339, Belpre, in response to Aaron Brooks being in the store for hours, acting in a way that was reported as him being “high on meth.” Contact was made with Brooks outside the store. It was advised that Brooks had been at the store for approximately three hours, following a clerk around the store, asking her if he could drive her home.
The clerks at the store then called 911 and when Brooks heard this he yelled at them, stating not to call 911. Brooks advised deputies that he had been there an hour or two. Brooks was acting agitated and nervous. Deputies located a prescription bottle with suboxone packages and several small clear plastic baggies, a shoe string, a syringe, a needle cap, a plastic straw, and two plastic baggies (containing 3.29 grams total package weight) of a white crystal substance, in Brooks’ pockets. Brooks stated the white crystal substance was sea salt, then said “its meth,” then said it was junk, then said he did not know what it was.
Aaron Casey Brooks, 29, of 1776 Briggs Hill Road, Belpre, was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance, disorderly conduct and probation violation.
¯ A deputy began an investigation Friday into littering in Grandview Township. This case remains under investigation.
¯ A deputy began an investigation Saturday into a trespassing complaint. This case remains under investigation.
¯ A woman reported Saturday that Bradley Taylor punched her in the face. Deputies responded and made contact with the woman and Taylor. Both stated they were in a mutual argument over issues between them, and about her being at the residence. The woman and Taylor stated they got in each other’s face, and then Taylor punched her in the left side of her face. Taylor stated he did not punch her but extended his open hands to create space between them, and could not recall if he had struck her in the face while creating this space. Bradley Andrew Taylor, 35, of Marietta, was placed under arrest for domestic violence.
¯ Deputies were dispatched Saturday to 100 Schilling St., Marietta, to a report that Jennifer Newbrough and Scott Biehl were fighting.
Deputies arrived and made contact with Newbrough and Biehl. Biehl advised he and Newbrough were at a friend’s residence and had consumed alcohol. Biehl stated they
returned home, continued to consume alcohol, and became involved in a verbal argument over household issues. The arguing continued until the children told them to stop.
A summons is being requested for Jennifer Lynn Newbrough, 43, and Scott C. Biehl, 36, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

¯ Santana Lynette Lake, 35, of Marietta, was arrested for a probation violation, a misdemeanor.
¯ Cody Montell Knotts, 30, of Marietta, was arrested for driving under suspension and breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors.
¯ Nathan Lee Davis, 37, of Beverly, was arrested for domestic violence, driving under suspension and contempt, all misdemeanors; and two counts of theft, both felonies.
¯ Aaron Casey Brooks, 29, of Belpre, was arrested for a probation violation and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors; and possession of drugs, a felony.
¯ Shawn Eugene Covey, 44, of Marietta, was arrested for harassment by inmate, a felony; obstructing official business, disorderly conduct, and criminal damaging, all misdemeanors.
¯ Hamadi Mosi Calhoun, 34, of Akron, was arrested for OVI, speed greater than 70 mph, and possession of marijuana, all misdemeanors.
¯ Patricia Jo Berg, 33, of Belpre, was arrested for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.
¯ Natalie Ann Benton, 35, of Marietta, was arrested for three counts of aggravated menacing, all misdemeanors.
¯ Timmi Lynn Jenkins-Mayle, 22, of Chesterhill, was arrested for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.
¯ Bradley Andrew Taylor, 35, of Marietta, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
¯ Nicholas James Patterson, 38, of Belpre, was arrested for a parole violation, tampering with drugs, breach of recognizance, trafficking in drugs, possession of heroin, and possession of drugs, all felonies; and a probation violation, a misdemeanor.
¯ Amy Leigh Davis, 35, of Belpre, was arrested for tampering with drugs, trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs, and permitting drug abuse, all felonies; and endangering children, a misdemeanor.
¯ Stefanie Elizabeth Tullius, 30, of Moundsville, W.Va., was arrested for criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
¯ Chad Michael Ray, 34, of Moundsville, W.Va., was arrested for possession of drugs, a misdemeanor.
¯ Tiera Lynn Smith, 23, of Belleville, W.Va., was arrested for breach of recognizance and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.
