¯ A sergeant investigated a dog belonging to Thomas Hinkle, 606 Seventh St., Marietta, March 23 that had gotten loose from his property. The dog was in a fenced yard but was able to jump the fence. The dog charged at a child that was walking with the parent, and caused injury that resulted in serious physical harm. Hinkle, 29, was summoned into Marietta Municipal Court on a charge of failing to restrain his dog.
¯ A deputy met with Cutler resident Jeffrey Wear on March 25 to conduct an investigation into the burglary at his residence. This case remains under investigation.
¯ A deputy met with Pamela Alexander on Saturday regarding Mark Alexander grabbing her and shoving her. Both subjects stated they were in a mutual argument, which turned into a pushing match between them. Mark admitted to grabbing Pamela by the face and pushing her away, and Pamela admitted to pushing Mark. A summons is being requested for both Pamela and Mark Alexander on a charge of disorderly conduct.
¯ A lieutenant was dispatched Sunday to Barth Road, Belpre, in response to a man reporting his girlfriend, Amy Jo Andermanis, assaulted him and bloodied his nose. He advised Andermanis had left the residence on foot. Deputies patrolled the area with negative contact with Andermanis.
He had scrapes to his face, neck and arms and a hematoma on his forehead. His glasses were found scratched up behind a door and his cell phone was found under a set of stairs to the outside.
Later in the morning, he called again to advise Andermanis had returned, however she fled again before officers could arrive. A warrant was requested through Marietta Municipal Court and issued for Amy Jo Andermanis, 42, on a charge of domestic violence and obstruction.
¯ A lieutenant began an investigation Tuesday into stolen catalytic converters in Warren Township. This case remains under investigation.
