Barlow Library offered Hogwarts inspired Herbology class
The Barlow Branch Washington County Library hosted a Harry Potter filled day with a “Hogwarts Herbology” activity event for kids. The event, which was both fun and educational, was conducted by library assistant Carrie Curry. Activities included: painting a pot and planting herbs; making “potions,” which consisted of taking essential oils and learning what they could do in the real world — an example was mixing scents to make bug repellent — and trivia games.
