The Marietta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on Ohio 60 near milepost four, involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at approximately 5:15 a.m. Friday.
Preliminary findings revealed that a 2002 Acura MDX driven by Sean R. Wise, 36, of McConnelsville, was southbound on Ohio 60 when it struck Emilee Kincaid, 31, of McConnelsville.
The driver left the scene. Kincaid was later found deceased along the side of the roadway by a passerby. Wise’s vehicle was found approximately one mile from the crash scene. The crash remains under investigation.
Agencies at the scene include the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, M&M EMS, The Morgan County Coroner’s Office, the Morgan County Prosecutor’s Office, Ohio Department of Transportation and Tanners Towing.
