GALLIPOLIS — One person was killed Wednesday morning in a traffic crash on Gallia Road 130, the Ohio State Highway Patrol Gallipolis Post said.

Steven E. Craig, 34, Patriot, Ohio, was driving a 2009 Acura TSX north on Route 130 when it off the right side of the road and overturned in a creek, the patrol said. Craig was pronounced dead at the scene by the Gallia County Coroner.

Route 130 was closed for about three hours. The accident happened around 7:40 a.m.

The accident remains under investigation, the patrol said.

Agencies responding were the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office, Gallia County EMS, Harrison Township Fire Department, Rio Grande Fire Department, the Gallia County Coroner, Stapleton Towing and the Willis Funeral Home.
