1 min read

A free information session on Medicare coverage will be offered for Washington County residents at 4:30 p.m. May 2 at the O'Neill Center in Marietta.

The program will be helpful to those looking for information on when or how to sign up for Medicare, as well as those who have questions about coverage and how the various coverage parts differ. The session is presented by the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program.

A press release from the O'Neill Center said the program also can answer such questions as how Medicare supplement insurance is different from Medicare Advantage plans; how the best Medicare prescription drug option can be selected; and reasons to take advantage of the complimentary "Welcome to Medicare" doctor visit.

The O'Neill Center is at 333 4th St. in Marietta. It is the only site in Washington County holding the OSHIIP Medicare information session this year.

Please call the center at 740-373-3914 to register.
