BELPRE -- The Belpre Area Community Development Foundation 2023 Grants Committee will accept funding applications through May 31.
Besides being a 501 (c)(3) organization, applicants or the project must be in Belpre or in Barlow, Belpre, Decatur, Fairfield, Palmer, Wesley and Warren townships. Organizations outside of the areas can submit an application if the project supports one of the listed areas.
The foundation application must be used and all information must be included and attached.
The application is available at the Community Development Foundation website or by contacting Kim Poole at jpoole8028@yahoo.com. All instructions are on the application.
The foundation in 2022 awarded $171,158 to local 501(c)(3) organizations.
Receiving a grant in 2022 were the Amputee Center, the Arc of the Mid-Ohio Valley, Belpre Area Ministries, Belpre Civitan Club, Belpre Performing Arts, Belpre Safetytown, Belpre Senior Center, Belpre XC Invitational, Washington County Boys and Girls Club, Children's Museum of the Mid-Ohio Valley, City of Belpre, BSA Belpre Troop 91, Consumer Credit Counseling of the Mid-Ohio Valley, Habitat for Humanity, Parents and Friends of the Hearing Impaired and the Right Path for Washington County.
