The Mid-Ohio Valley Players Junior Players will hold auditions for "The Big Bad Musical," its summer show, from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Auditions will be held in the upstairs in the annex adjacent to the Players Theatre at 227 Putnam St.
Auditions are open to 8- to 16-year olds. Bring a summer schedule with vacations, camps and other activities that may conflict with rehearsals.
Those who are auditioning should come prepared to sing a short acapella (no backing track or accompaniment) song. It doesn't have to be anything extravagant! "Happy Birthday" or "Do-Re-Mi" or the first verse and chorus to a favorite show tune or song from the radio are fine.
Show dates are 7 p.m. Aug. 11-12 and 3 p.m. Aug. 13.
"The Big Bad Musical" is based on the book by Alec Strum. Music and lyrics are by Bill Francoeur. The show is produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service of Englewood, Col.
