A Marietta woman was indicted on attempted murder and arson charges by a Washington County Grand Jury Tuesday.
Arlene Mae West, 33, 210 Cedar St., Marietta, allegedly attempted to kill the victim by means of fire or explosion on April 8 at her residence on Cedar Street. She was charged with aggravated arson and attempted murder.
Twelve other defendants were indicted including:
¯ Christopher William Hicks, 28, 714 Orchard Drive, Ravenswood, aggravated burglary and two counts of assault due to an incident on April 8 on McGill Road in Vincent.
¯ Eric Warren McCormick, 52, 98 Crest Circle, Spring Lake, N.C., receiving stolen property.
¯ Vincent Nicholas Desimone, 22, 813 Fourth St., Marietta, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, operating a vehicle under the influence and driving under financial responsibility law suspension or cancellation.
¯ Joseph Wesley Myers, 46, Marietta, domestic violence.
¯ Amanda Asia Wallace, 29, 11121 Veto Road, Marietta, illegal conveyance of drugs on grounds of a government facility, aggravated possession of drugs.
¯ Josey Cheyenne Barton, 32, 201 1/2 E. Montgomery St., Marietta, aggravated possession of drugs.
¯ Thurman W.H. Perdue, Sr., 48, 710 Front St., Marietta, two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs and trafficking a fentanyl-related compound.
¯ Thomas H. McCorkle, 67, 100 Wash St. E., Apt. 620, Charleston, passing back checks.
¯ Nicholas Aron Beyard, 22, 645 County Road 36, Chesapeake, bribery.
¯ Dustin D. Wade, 36, Mansfield Correctional Institution, illegal conveyance of drugs on a government facility, aggravated possession of drugs.
¯ Timothy Lee Sanders, 45, 4510 Clemens-Strode Road, Malta, failure to appear as required by recognizance.
¯ Cecil W. Slack, 43, 240 Hillcrest Drive, Apt. 50, Marietta, last known address, aggravated possession of drugs and falsification.
