All Out Clean Out events scheduled this month; All Out Roll Out slated for July, early August

This summer, it's going to be a good thing to be "on the outs" in Marietta.

The City of Marietta's 2023 All Out Clean Out is coming up the next two weekends, followed by the city's All Out Roll Out in July and early August.

The All Out Clean Out is the opportunity for Marietta residents to dispose of any unwanted household items. They will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 9 and 10, and again June 16 and 17. The drop-off sites are Jackson Park at 1201 Cisler Drive and Flanders Field at 201 Fearing St.

All Out Clean Out is for Marietta residents only, and residency may be checked. No hazardous materials can be accepted. Any questions can be directed to the general information number for City Hall, 740-373-1387.

Then the attention turns to All Out Roll Out. As many employees as possible from each city department participate in the combined team that visits each Council Ward, one ward at a time. The idea is to take a close-up look and spot any problems or details where the departments can help to improve the ward's maintenance, appearance or safety.

The schedule for this year's All Out Roll Out campaign:

¯ First Ward -- July 10, 11 and 12;

¯ Second Ward -- July 17, 18 and 19;

¯ Third Ward -- July 24, 25 and 26, and

¯ Fourth Ward -- July 31, Aug. 1 and 2.
