For Goodness Snakes 8 holds Jungle Jam

For Goodness Snakes 8 hosted a Jungle Jam event at the Marietta Junior Fair Building on Saturday. The organization is a reptile rescue dedicated to helping reptiles live a healthy life.

At least 1,200 wristbands were sold for the event and For Goodness Snakes 8 showcased over 15 reptiles. There was also 22 vendors, two drink trucks and a food truck available for event goers, as well as, face painting and live music from local musicians, Jesse Forest and Tyson Huck.

The vendors present at Saturday's event ranged from Plato's Closet to Marietta's We Love Pets.

"We also have dog trainers and groomers," said Event Coordinator Joelle Cornet.

For Goodness Snakes 8 had a basket raffle at their event. There were nine raffles at the event, one of them was a 50/50 raffle. The money made from these raffles went to For Goodness Snakes 8 and their mission to reptile rescue.

For Goodness Snakes 8 also had many things for the children present as well. They had a petting zoo with puppies, a bunny, an alpaca, a mini horse, goats and sheep. For Goodness Snakes 8 had two bouncy houses for the children as well as a face painting station.
