Resurfacing on Front Street, Glendale Extension slated for June 28 to July 15

Work is scheduled to begin June 28 on the resurfacing of Front Street and Glendale Extension.

Shelly and Sands is the contractor for the Ohio Department of Transportation project. Cleanup of both locations will start June 28. Work is scheduled through July 15, weather permitting.

The following are streets scheduled to be milled, paved and sealed:

Front Street, from Putnam to Wooster Street, and Glendale Extension, from Colegate Drive to Dun-Wrentin Road, are scheduled to be milled, paved and sealed. Additional milling and paving will be performed on Front Street, from Wooster Street to Sacra Via, at a later date to be announced.

Parking will be prohibited in some locations while work is performed. There will be posted no parking signs with dates and times. Traffic will be maintained with occasional exceptions while positioning and staging equipment. Motorists should travel the areas with caution, in addition to obeying traffic control signs and flaggers.
