Wash. Co. Commissioner Schilling to serve on board of directors of County Risk Sharing Authority

Washington County Commissioner Charlie Schilling has been selected to serve on the board of directors of the County Risk Sharing Authority.
CORSA, established in 1987 by the County Commissioners Association of Ohio as a service program, is a self-insured property and liability pool for county government. Currently, 72 of the 88 counties are members.
Schilling was recommended by the selection committee and unanimously appointed by the board of directors to fill the unexpired term of Commissioner Paul Haller.

"CORSA has a longstanding reputation of serving Washington County and the best interests of each county it represents. I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with the board and work on behalf of our member counties to provide the best property and liability coverage, along with risk management services."

Commissioners from CORSA member counties are eligible to serve on the board and are elected by the board and the membership at the September annual meeting. Board members can serve four consecutive three-year terms.
