The Mid-Ohio Valley Players will hold auditions for "Night of the Living Dead," its special event for Halloween 2023.
Auditions will be held 7 p.m. July, 31 and Aug. 1 in the upstairs of the annex adjacent to the theater at 227 Putnam St.
"Night of the Living Dead" by Lori Allen Ohm is based on the original 1968 movie "Night of the Living Dead" by George Romero and John Russo. Locations where the movie was filmed included rural Washington County, Pa., and sites north of Pittsburgh.
Directing the show is Karen Pratt Paskawych, who strives for inclusion and diversity in her casting and encourages anyone to audition. Several speaking roles and many zombie extras are available.
