The Churchtown Busy Bunch 4-H Club had two special meetings in July-July 23 and July 30. Both meetings were for special events. The July 23 meeting was held at Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Canton and was the club's family outing. The short meeting was called to order by Blake Lang with Joel Schaad leading the USA pledge and Declan Schaad leading the 4-H pledge. The event was well attended with 20 members, 10 parents/chaperones and 3 advisors. The club jumped on trampolines, played dodge ball and basketball and had a pizza party.
The second meeting was both for club updates and a work meeting. This meeting was held July 30 at member Kaydence Roush's house. The meeting was called to order by Chad Lang with pledges (USA) by Blake Lang and Declan Schaad (4-H).
Under advisor's announcements, the dates for rabbit tattooing, make-up judging, Stock the Trailer donations and pen setups were given.
Demonstrations included:
1. Brenna Cole -- "Parts of a Rabbit"
2. Chad Lang -- "Equipment for Getting a Market Goat Ready for the Fair"
3. Sophie Jenks -- "Fruits Dips"
4. 2 missed reports on Demonstrations from July 9: Blake Nibert -- "Safety with Beginning Fishing" and Landon Nibert-"Safety during Woodworking"
The club members painted the trash can under the direction of the Trash Can committee -- Blake Nibert, Blake Lang and Declan Schaad.
