¯ James A. Jones, 38, of 3105 8th Ave., Vienna, was eastbound on County Road 3 in Dunham Township July 28 in a 2023 Chevy Colorado pickup truck owned by the Davis H. Elliott Co. of Fredericksburg, Va.,when he went off the right side of the road and struck a ditch. He was charged with operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control.

¯ Erica D. Shuck, 31, of 144 Dawes Circle, Marietta, was northbound on County Road 102 in Waterford Township July 22 in a 2014 Nissan Versa owned by Joshua M. Shuck, 480 Radabaugh Rd., Marietta, when she went left of center, went off the left side of the road and struck a tree. She had possible minor injuries but was not transported. She was charged with operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control.

¯ John M. Miller, 61, of 102 Woodcrest Lane, Marietta, was southbound on Ohio 26 and negotiating a curve in Marietta Township July 25 in a 2014 Chevy Silverado pickup truck when he crossed the center line, went off the left side of the road and struck a guardrail. His vehicle overturned and traveled down a steep embankment. He had suspected minor injuries and was taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital by unknown means. He was charged with leaving a marked lane before making sure it was safe to do so.

¯ Grant B. Westfall, 66, of Battle Creek, Mich., was driving a 2005 Harley Davidson Road King motorcycle southbound on Ohio 555 in Marion Township July 29 when he overturned and went off the right side of the road. He had possible minor injuries but was not transported. The patrol report noted that unsafe speed was a contributing factor. He was charged with operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control.

¯ Patrick James McCarthy, 18, of 350 Brush Road, Marietta, was driving a 2018 Lincoln Navigator SUV eastbound on Township Road 465 in Warren Township July 31 when he drove off the right side of the road and struck two trees. He was charged with operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control.
