PARKERSBURG -- A recently promoted vice president at United Bank Wealth Management and United Brokerage Services Inc. has been honored with prestigious national and statewide awards.

Lindsay Diehl Green was named to the Bank Insurance & Securities Association's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Rising Star Program Class of 2023 and in June was recognized in The State Journal's Generation Next: 40 Under 40 Class of 2023.

"I am grateful for the nominations by my United family. Winning these awards, both the BISA Rising Star Award and the 40 Under 40 Award, would not have been possible without the opportunities that I have been blessed with from my peers and my superiors who have not only encouraged me throughout my journey but also continue to provide unwavering support in all aspects of my career," Diehl Green said.

Diehl Green was recently promoted to vice president, assistant director of operations and client services for United Bank Wealth Management and United Brokerage Services.

She was recognized for her work and dedication to the banking and financial services industry, the Mid-Ohio Valley community and diversity, equity and inclusion.

"Lindsay has contributed greatly to the success of both United Brokerage and United Wealth Management through her dedication to client service, extensive financial knowledge and steadfast leadership," Matthew Humphrey, executive vice president, head of Wealth and Investment Management and CEO of United Brokerage, said.

A native of Parkersburg, Diehl Green has an entrepreneurial story, helping to foster United's growth across various divisions. She joined United Bank in 2005 as a sales associate and quickly grew through United's Retail Department, becoming branch manager of the Parkersburg Main Branch, United's local flagship office and the company's founding location, in 2008.

Diehl Green transitioned to United Brokerage in 2010 when she became the division's sole client service associate, assisting the firm's financial advisors throughout the footprint.

In 2019, she was promoted to client service manager, a role created just for Diehl Green. In early July, she took her career to new heights when she was promoted to her current role of vice president, assistant director of Operations and Client Services.

Diehl Green leads both the Client Service Team and operations for United Wealth Management and United Brokerage Services, taking an active role in the direction of both divisions and working closely with Humphrey.

"Throughout all her endeavors, Lindsay exemplifies commitment, drive and leadership. She has weaved herself into the fabric of United Brokerage Services, becoming an integral part of the division's organic growth and expansion," said Tom Mudlaff, president and chief operating officer of United Brokerage Services.

Only 15 individuals nationwide are selected each year to receive the Rising Star award. Generation Next: 40 Under 40 Awards Program was established 18 years ago and recognizes 40 emerging young leaders under the age of 40 in industries across the Mountain State are recognized.
