152nd Barlow Fair parade draws a crowd

BARLOW - The 152nd Barlow Fair, the oldest in Ohio, continues Saturday and Sunday at the Barlow Fairgrounds.

Rides will be provided by Big O Amusements. Rides are open Saturday noon- 5 p.m. and 6-11 p.m., and Sunday noon-4 p.m. The festival schedule includes:

Saturday

¯ 8 a.m., gates open

¯ 9 a.m., Feeder Calf Show; Feeder Calf Sportsmanship immediate following the show

¯ 9:30 a.m., Garden Tractor Pull

¯ 10 a.m.-1.m., Rabbit Judging; Open Contest Horse Show

¯ Noon-4 p.m., election of directors, fair board office

¯ 1 p.m., Draft Pony Pull

¯ 4:30 p.m., Buyers Reception

¯ 5 p.m., Top 6 Pie and Cake Auction; ducks; goats; feeder calves

¯ 5;30 p.m., Doyle and Friends, gazebo

¯ 7 p.m., Tug R Tractor Pull, 5,500-6,500 pound classes

¯ 8:30 p.m., Phase 2, gazebo

Sunday

¯ 8 a.m., gates open

¯ 9 a.m., church with Lloyd Dennis, gazebo

¯ 10 a.m., Open Pleasure Horse Show; Speed Pull, truck and tractor

¯ 10:30 a.m., Pound and Pour, show barn

¯ Noon, Little Miss and Mr. Barlow, gazebo

¯ 4 p.m., exhibits released
