The Castle will host its Annual Garden Party Fundraiser from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 26.
Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at https://mariettacastle.org/events. There will be light refreshments, live music and complimentary tours of the museum.
The event is a chance to learn more about The Castle's many educational and entertainment opportunities and to meet staff and board members, according to Education Director Kyle Yoho. The occasion also supports The Castle's mission of preservation and education.
The Castle, built in 1855, offers tours starting in April and many history-related events throughout the year, Yoho said. Offerings include local historical mock trials, food history, archaeology, summer camps, school and Scout education, cemetery tours, teas and luncheons, wedding and facility rental and more, Yoho said.
