Marietta's 2023 citywide asphalt resurfacing project will begin Sept. 11.
The milling and paving work is being done by Shelly and Sands and will follow the schedule below, weather permitting.

Adjustments of utilities (manholes and water valves) are scheduled for the week of Sept. 18-22. Pavement markings will follow.Parking will be prohibited in some locations during resurfacing activities. Residents should note No Parking signs and dates and times of work.
Traffic will be maintained with occasional exceptions while positioning and staging equipment. Motorists traveling those areas should use caution and obey traffic control signs and flagging personnel.
