– Judy K. Conley, 66, 104 Woodland Court Apts., Woodsfield, driving a 2012 Chevy Captiva Sport and Wendy M. Sayre, 47, 215 S. 11th St., Cambridge, driving a 2011 Ford F-150 were both traveling southbound on Interstate 77 in Muskingum Township October 23 at a crash site when Sayre failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead and struck Conley. Conley and her passenger had no apparent injuries. Sayre and her passenger both had suspected minor injuries and were taken by Devola EMS to Marietta Memorial Hospital. Sayre was charged with failure to keep an assured clear distance.

– Noah A. Schmidt, 19, 1125 State Route 530, Lowell, driving a 1995 Ford Aspire owned by Julia A. Bee, 220 Reed Road, Marietta, was traveling eastbound on County Road 14 in Independence Township October 15 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. Schmidt had no apparent injuries and was charged with operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control.

– Livia M. McCaffrey, 32, 13939 State Route 550, Athens, driving a 2014 Kia Soul owned by Jana M. Howell, 23 Whispering Pines Circle, Parkersburg, was traveling northbound on County Road 10 in Warren Township October 17 when McCaffrey failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. The Kia Soul overturned and came to a rest on its tires. McCaffrey had suspected minor injuries but was not transported. She was charged with an unsafe vehicle.
