A Parkersburg man was indicted for involuntary manslaughter, corrupting another with drugs, and aggravated trafficking of drugs while a Marietta woman was charged with assault and child endangerment by a Washington County Grand Jury Wednesday.
Eric Hampton Stevens, 41, 716 30th St., Parkersburg allegedly involuntarily killed a man by means of administering a controlled substance to the victim while trafficking drugs on Jan. 2. He was charged with a first-degree felony count of involuntary manslaughter, second-degree felony of corrupting another with drugs, and fourth-degree felony of aggravated trafficking in drugs.
Additional information was not immediately available Wednesday evening.
Tiffany Jean Burwell, 37, 1468 Muskingum River Road, Marietta, allegedly assaulted a functionally impaired victim, of whom she is a caretaker, on Sept. 5.
She was charged with a fourth-degree felony count of assault and two counts of endangering children, a misdemeanor of the first degree.
Additional information was not immediately available Wednesday evening.
Neither Burwell nor Stevens are listed in custody at the Washington County Jail.
Seventeen other defendants were indicted.
≤ Erron Scott Bennett, 38, 165 Pauline Ave., Akron, was indicted on charges of aggravated possession of drugs and having weapons while under disability, both third-degree felonies, from July 4.
≤ Anez Marie Grywalsky, 36, 102 Hope Drive, Apt. 102, Athens, and Eva Renee Grywalsky, 59, 1580 Wills Creek Valley Drive, Apt. A4, Cambridge were both indicted on charges of endangering children, a third-degree felony, from June 8.
≤ Jazell M. Garrett-(Curtis), 30, 1263 Curtis St., Akron, was indicted on a charge of receiving proceeds of an offense subject to forfeiture proceedings, a fifth-degree felony, from June 2, 2020.
≤ Dashaun Lamar Pass, 27, 2612 Randleman Road, Greensboro, N.C., was indicted on charges of possessing criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony, and receiving proceeds of an offense subject to forfeiture proceedings, a fifth-degree felony, from July 14, 2020.
≤ Liam Z. Tidd, 18, 26956 Ridge Road, Coolville, was indicted on charges of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fifth-degree felony, and carrying a concealed weapon, a fourth-degree felony, from June 23. The weapons charge included specifications for forfeiture of one gun.
≤ Zachary Ray Burdette, 28, 6280 Lost Pavement Road, Washington, W.Va., was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, from May 30.
≤ Carl Dennis Robison, 30, 235 Johnson Road, Marietta, was indicted on charges of having weapons while under disability, trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, and possession of a fentanyl-related compound, all third-degree felonies; improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony; and aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, both second-degree felonies, from Aug. 10. The weapons charges included specifications for forfeiture of one gun. The drug charges included specifications for forfeiture of one gun in a drug case as well as money in a drug case.
≤ Joseph Jay Chamberlain, 44, 612 Cutler St., Marietta, was indicted on charges of voyeurism and possessing criminal tools, both fifth-degree felonies, from Sept. 21.
≤ Elizabeth R. Knox, 38, 919 Fifth St., Marietta, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, from Dec. 22.
≤ Travis Clell Blamer, 46, 721 High St. North, Malta, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, from July 24, 2022.
≤ Douglas Perry Christopher, 54, last known address 205 Putnam St., Marietta, was indicted on a charge of failure to register, a third-degree felony, from May 11. Christopher reportedly did not register with the Washington County Sheriff's Office nor provide notice of intent to reside, change of address, or address verification. He is required to register after being convicted of sexual battery in Washington County Common Pleas Court in 2012.
≤ Thomas Ray Giles, 67, last known address 1422 Lens Creek Road, Charleston, was indicted on a charge of failure to appear as required by recognizance, a fourth-degree felony, from Oct. 27.
≤ Tracey R. Brown, 44, last known address 100 Lavender Ave., Charleston, was indicted on a charge of failure to appear as required by recognizance, a fourth-degree felony, from Oct. 27.
≤ Dylan Lee Riley, 37, 715 Cisler Drive, Marietta, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, from Dec. 15, 2021. Riley was previously convicted of a drug abuse offense in February 2018.
≤ Kelly Renee Henthorn, 61, 300 Phillips St., Marietta, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, from Dec. 26. In a separate case, Henthorn was also indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, from May 5.
Robert Wayland Patterson, 40, homeless, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, from Nov. 29, 2022.
