The Peoples Bank Foundation has donated $1,000 to Artsbridge to provide support for their Art After Dark program.

“It is essential to our mission as a community bank to help meet the needs of our local communities,” said Peoples Bank Foundation Vice President Kevin Eagan about the importance of giving back.

The Art After Dark program is a celebration of the winter solstice and uses art to facilitate a conversation of healing as people may face depression and anxiety during this time of year. The program’s goal is to create togetherness and spark positivity moving into the new year.

“We are so grateful to the Peoples Bank Foundation for its support in our mission of connecting communities through creativity,” Lyndsay Dennis, Artsbridge Inc. executive director, said. “Having this type of funding allows us to leave a lasting impression on people with the hopes of encouraging growth in attendance for years to come.”

The Peoples Bank Foundation was started by Peoples Bank in 2003 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2023. Since its inception, the Foundation has delivered over $7 million in grants and scholarships.

Starting at $2.99/week.
