The Habitat for Humanity of the Mid-Ohio Valley announced it is selling tickets for their 22nd Annual Callihan Dinner and Auction on Feb. 9 at 5:30 p.m. at the Marietta Shrine Club.
"We always plan this event with a Valentine's theme, so folks can bring their loved ones and friends to dinner and celebrate for a great cause," Executive Director Robin Stewart said in a release. "We look forward to a night of great food, fun and entertainment, as we raise funds to assist in building homes with people who just need a hand up."
Stewart said in the release that tickets are selling quickly and she anticipates a sellout.
It said dinner will be catered by Theo's of Cambridge and will feature a choice of roast beef sirloin, lemon pepper chicken, or spinach cream lasagna. It said tickets are $50 per person or $400 for a table of eight, with both live and silent auctions.
Randy Burnworth will be serving as Master of Ceremonies and Charlie and Keelan McLeish as auctioneers.
The event is named in memory of past board member and volunteer, the late Paul Callihan, and the release said the event is the largest fundraiser held by the agency.
The sponsors for the event include One Nine Design, WV Central Federal Credit Union, Mike & Roseanne Buell, MattressMax, Charlie Matthews and Carolyn Garrity, The UPS Store Belpre, American Producer Supply Co., First Mutual Bank, and Waterford Commercial and Savings Bank. Sponsorships are still available and auction item donations are welcome.
