The Castle to host Community Fair and Volunteer Day

The Castle will be presenting Third Thursdays with The Castle: Community Day and Volunteer Fair from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 17.

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to get involved in the community? The Castle Museum Community Day and Volunteer Fair is a chance to explore exciting volunteer opportunities, connect with fellow history lovers, and experience the museum like never before.

Discover how you can make a difference by joining The Castle’s team of passionate volunteers. Whether interested in leading tours, providing activities for field trips, joining archaeology digs, assisting with special events, or working behind the scenes, there’s a role for everyone.

The Castle, built in 1855, offers a wide array of tours, educational opportunities, and programs. Tours are available starting in April and many history-related events throughout the year. Offer-ings include local historical mock trials, food history, archaeology, summer camps, school and scout education, cemetery tours, teas and luncheons, wedding and facility rental, and much more.
