Memorial Health System’s Sistersville General Hospital Recognized as an Age-Friendly Health System

Memorial Health System has announced that Sistersville General Hospital has been recognized as an Age-Friendly Health System: Committed to Care Excellence by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI).

The recognition highlights the hospital’s commitment to providing high-quality, age-friendly care to older adults in Tyler County and surrounding communities.

The Age-Friendly Health Systems initiative is a national movement led by IHI, in partnership with the John A. Hartford Foundation, the American Hospital Association, and the Catholic Health Association of the United States. The goal is to ensure that every older adult receives evidence-based care aligned with what matters most to them.

“We are honored to receive this recognition and proud of the team at Sistersville General ospital for leading the way in improving the health and well-being of older adults,” said Sistersville General Hospital’s Hospital Administrator Jason Suter. “This designation reflects our ongoing dedication to compassionate, patient-centered care for everyone we serve.”
