National Police Week celebrated with Operation Blue Sky

(Photo by Amber Phipps) In recognition of National Police Week, which takes place May 11 through May 17, officers throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley traveled through Marietta, Belpre, Parkersburg, Vienna and Williamstown on Saturday night starting at 8:30 p.m.

Operation Blue Sky recognized the dedication of current officers and those who have passed. The event honors the sacrifice of officers who have protected their communities in Ohio and West Virginia for National Police Week, which takes place May 11 through May 17.
