MARIETTA — WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center played host to nearly 150 patients from Marietta and surrounding communities at its Dinner with the Docs “Joint Decisions: Expert Insights on Orthopaedic Care and Managing Pain” event on Monday, June 24, at the Lafayette Hotel.
Event participants engaged in a discussion highlighting local orthopedic treatment options and an integrated approach to managing joint pain.
Topics covered with orthopedic specialists and health care professionals included joint pain, surgical intervention, physical therapy and pain management.
The evening’s featured panelists included:

Camden Clark Director of Specialty Care Services Debra Proctor served as the panel moderator, while Vice President of Ambulatory Services Vince McClosky provided a welcome and opened the evening’s discussion.
“Living with daily joint pain is the unfortunate reality for many individuals across the Mid-Ohio Valley,” McClosky said. “Events like Dinner with the Docs allow us to connect with these members of our community and guide them toward resources — whether that’s orthopedic surgery, pain management or physical therapy — that can significantly improve their mobility and quality of life.
