Marietta celebrates First Friday with games, art and prizes

(Photo by Amber Phipps) Thermo Fisher was set up on the Armory lawn and offered prizes for those who spun the wheel. Their theme was focused on Love is Love with a selection of prizes like water bottles, koozies, bracelets and flags.
(Photo by Amber Phipps) A hand-painted motorcycle was parked outside of Clutch Collective for a pop-up which featured local artist Meg Rataiczak. Rataiczak is with Monkey’s Uncle Tattoo and had a selection of her art on display including paintings, stickers, and prints.
(Photo by Amber Phipps) The Armory lawn was full of games and activities sponsored by Artsbridge for kids to enjoy. Two blow-up slides were available for kids to play on while parents could socialize with others in their community.
(Photo by Amber Phipps) Friends of Forgotten Felines was stationed outside of McKenna’s Market where passersby could pet the dog. Donations were encouraged and people could pay $5 for six raffle tickets. All proceeds went towards the organization.

(Photo by Amber Phipps) Local singer and songwriter Evie Schaffer sang for the crowd at Marietta Makery on First Friday in June. Owner of Marietta Makery Greta Guimond said that they love having Schaffer perform and she’s a crowd favorite.
