VIENNA — The Vienna Freedom Festival will feature music, food and other attractions on Friday and Saturday at Spencer’s Landing in Vienna.
The event is organized by the Friends of Vienna.
For the Freedom Festival’s third year in 2024, it expanded to a two-weekend event. The first weekend included carnival rides, crafts, circus performers and music by multiple artists, including “American Pie” singer Don McLean, at Grand Central Mall. On the second weekend, activities moved to Spencer’s Landing Park and included a rodeo, hot air balloons and other attractions.
This year, the festival will be focusing on one weekend and one location, Spencer’s Landing.
The Freedom Festival will be bringing back the rodeo, tethered balloon rides, live music and craft and food vendors. This year’s festival will culminate in a Saturday night drone light show.

Returning to the festival will be Home Free, which previously performed in 2022. General admission is free, although VIP tickets will be available for purchase.
Home Free is an acapella group that won the fourth season of NBC’s “The Sing-Off.” The group has collaborated with artists including Kenny Rogers, Don McLean, Lee Greenwood and U2.
The performance will be 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Spencer’s Landing.
The opening act for Home Free will be Chapel Hart, taking the stage at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Chapel Hart entertained audiences from coast to coast with their performances, including at the Grand Ole Opry. The group earned a golden buzzer on “America’s Got Talent.”
