BELPRE — Memorial Health Foundation announced a recent donation from the Belpre Area Community Development Foundation (BACDF) in support of Memorial Health System’s upcoming Women and Children’s Hospital, and Memorial Health Foundation’s Together Campaign.

The project, led by Memorial Health System, is designed to transform health care for families across the Mid-Ohio Valley for generations to come. Nearly a year ago, the health system celebrated with local and government officials, local schools, and the community with a groundbreaking event. Recently, visible progress is now underway at the Belpre Medical Campus, where construction teams have begun mobilizing equipment and preparing the site.

The $100,000 gift from BACDF reflects a strong commitment to advancing health care access and improving the well-being of communities throughout the region. By supporting the Women and Children’s Hospital, BACDF is helping Memorial Health System bring specialized care for women and children, closer to home, officials said.

Fundraising efforts for the Women and Children’s Hospital are being led through Memorial Health Foundation’s Together Campaign–part of Memorial Health System’s long-term vision to ensure rural communities have the same high-quality healthcare as urban areas.
