Parkersburg’s Clark named Washington County Boys & Girls Club CEO
The Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County has named a new chief executive officer.
Justin Clark’s appointment was effective Monday.
“I am incredibly humbled to have the opportunity to serve as the next chief executive officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County,” Clark said. “This organization has a rich legacy of service, and I am grateful to the Board for their confidence in me as we work together to expand our impact for the young people of this community.”
Clark most recently was chief operating officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Parkersburg while also acting as interim chief operating officer in Washington County since November 2024.
Over the past decade, he has held leadership roles including executive director of the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Charleston, unit director of the Boys & Girls Club of Johnson City, and program director of the Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton. Clark started with the Boys & Girls Club in 2014 as a part-time youth development professional.
He has a master’s of public administration from Liberty University and a master’s of non-profit administration from Louisiana State University at Shreveport. He is a nationally certified trainer with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and has earned national recognition for his leadership, including being named Trainer of the Year for the Midwest Region and receiving the prestigious Robert W. Woodruff Fellowship.
“Justin Clark possesses a remarkable track record of success in leadership roles, and his experience aligns well with the needs of the organization. I believe his strategic vision and ability to inspire teams will be invaluable to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County,” board President John Gazzale said. “Furthermore, he has demonstrated a genuine commitment to community engagement. I am confident that Justin’s collaborative approach will foster strong relationships with stakeholders. I wholeheartedly believe he is the man for the job.”
Looking ahead, Clark said collaboration is central to his vision.
“Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County is guided by an engaged board, staffed with dedicated youth development professionals, and supported by a generous community,” he said. “I look forward to building on that foundation to ensure that even more youth and families across Washington County have access to the high-quality Club experience they deserve.”
