NEW MATAMORAS – The Matamoras Area Historical Society will host Carvers on the Porch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 18 at the historical society museum, Main and Second streets (State Route 7) in New Matamoras.

Featured will be the Geppetto Woodcarvers from Parkersburg.

Carvers are invited to participate and area woodcrafters are encouraged to attend and display. The Matamoras Senior Citizens will have baked goods for sale and kettle-cooked soup beans will be available.
