Final work is being done this week to reopen Fourth Street near Marion Street. The project to repair a sinkhole required the street to be rebuilt in the area. Paving is expected to occur at the end of the week. The construction is being completed by Jimmie Harper Construction and was previously estimated to cost $620,000. Curb work has been completed on the Fulton Street side of the sinkhole.
