VINCENT — The Warren Local Band Boosters’ 46th annual Fall Arts and Crafts Fair featured dozens of vendors and drew steady crowds throughout the day Saturday.
About 80 volunteers — including band students and their families — helped organize, set up and run the show, according to Warren Band Director Courtney Clark.
Proceeds benefit the band boosters, supporting travel, equipment and music expenses, as well as student opportunities such as honor band participation and ensemble activities. Funds are vital during the marching season, when travel expenses increase.
Clark said the tradition thrives because of the community’s connection to the event.
“This is such a community-driven event,” Clark said. “Every year, I see people I haven’t talked to since the last craft fair, and we take time to catch up. The crafters do the same. It’s really become a familiar, welcoming experience for so many people.”

The craft show follows a standout competition season for the band, which recently earned a superior rating at the OMEA State Finals for the fourth consecutive year. The band will cap its season Nov. 13 at the Bands of America Grand Nationals.
Clark said the ongoing support from families, alumni and community members has helped the band continue to build momentum.
“It’s a staple in our community,” she said. “For 46 years, it’s continued to grow — and we’re so grateful for the community that keeps showing up.”
