A Vincent man has been arrested on a child pornography charge following an investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

On Tuesday, Sheriff Mark Warden reported that the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau executed a search warrant Monday at 509 Short Brook Road, Vincent, in Belpre Township, in reference to an ongoing investigation related to possession and distribution of child pornography.

During the search, Zachary Allen Clatterbuck, 31, was interviewed and admitted to possessing child pornography. A preliminary search of his cell phone revealed child pornography material, including the rape of prepubescent children. This preliminary search indicated Clatterbuck is obtaining and distributing child pornography material, not merely viewing it, Warden said.

Clatterbuck was subsequently arrested for pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a second-degree felony.

The investigation remains ongoing, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office is actively conducting a forensic examination of his electronic devices. Additional indictments may be forthcoming.

Clatterbuck appeared in Marietta Municipal Court and was being held on $50,000 bond plus no contact with anyone under 18 years of age.
