Cody and Brittany Lee, of St. Marys, welcomed the first New Year’s Baby of 2026 at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center at 3:01 p.m. Thursday. Harper Noel Lee weighed in at 7 lbs. 6 oz. and measured 21 inches long. She is the Lees’ first child and was delivered by Dr. Eric Lowden. Sue Casto, president of the WVU Medicine Camden Clark Auxiliary, presented the Lee family with a basket of baby gifts.

At Marietta Memorial Hospital, Carrie Henderson and Ryan Jewell welcomed Wrenlee Ann Jewell, the first New Year’s Baby of 2026, born at 2:50 a.m. on Thursday. “Bringing a baby into the world on New Year’s Day will be a wonderful and exciting celebration each year,” Henderson said.
