Washington County Grand Jury indictments include man charged in child’s death

A Little Hocking man has been indicted by the Washington County Grand Jury on charges related to the death of a 19-month-old child.
Dalton Corey Drummond, 33, 103 Pine Drive, Little Hocking, was charged with endangering children, aggravated possession of drugs and reckless homicide, all third-degree felonies. Co-defendant Brianna Mae Michael, 30, also of 103 Pine Drive, was charged with endangering children and aggravated possession of drugs.
According to the indictment, Drummond and Michael were in possession of or used methamphetamine at the Pine Drive residence on Aug. 31. Drummond on that day “did recklessly cause the death” of the child, the indictment said.
Drummond and Michael were among 18 people indicted this week by the grand jury. Also charged were:
– James Dennis Rhodes, 50, 519 Ingram Road, Newport; aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony; aggravated trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony, two counts; aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony, with specification for the forfeiture of a cell phone and money; aggravated trafficking in drugs, a second-degree felony, two counts, with specification for the forfeiture of a cell phone and money. Co-defendants Kevin Andrew Williams, 38, 1308 Williamson Ave., Apt. 2B, New Matamoras, and Valerie Ann Wiley, 42, 844 Greene St., Apt. 1, Marietta, were each indicted on one fifth-degree felony count of aggravated possession of drugs.
– Scott Douglas Zimmer, 50, 625 Shaffer Road, Waterford; pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, a second-degree felony, four counts.
– Daniel Louis Skodny, 42, 4281 Laylin Road, Norwalk, Ohio; aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; operating a motor vehicle with a hidden compartment to transport a controlled substance, a fourth-degree felony, with a specification for the forfeiture of property.
– Louvauntea Javon Mickens, 27, 1227 Briarwood Ave., Columbus; tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fourth-degree felony.
– David Irvin Wolfert, 47, 765 Schau Road, Lowell; tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; possession of drugs, a first-degree misdemeanor.
– Keith Allen Huff, 42, 127 State Route 821, Marietta; rape, a first-degree felony; felonious assault, a second-degree felony; domestic violence, a third-degree felony; abduction a third-degree felony; nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images, a fifth-degree felony.
– Walter Richard McBride II, 67, homeless; having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony, with three specifications for the forfeiture of a weapon; aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
– Darren Scott Roberts, 35, 47681 State Route 7, New Matamoras; having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony, with specification for the forfeiture of a weapon.
– Eric Keith Kincaid, 49, 12815 Possom Hollow Road NW, Crooksville; aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
– Bryce Steven Moncrief, 21, 7620 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell; strangulation, a third-degree felony; using weapons while intoxicated, a first-degree misdemeanor, with specification for the forfeiture of a weapon.
– Kyle Matthew Williams, 28, Vienna; strangulation, a third-degree felony; strangulation, a fourth-degree felony; domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor; intimidation of an attorney, victim or witness in a criminal case, a third-degree felony.
– Charles Edwin Day Jr., 42, 7409 Federal Road, Cutler; having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony, with specification for the forfeiture of a weapon; improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fifth-degree felony, with specification for the forfeiture of a weapon; operating a vehicle under the influence, a first-degree misdemeanor; criminal damaging or endangering, three counts, a first-degree misdemeanor; failure to stop after an accident, two counts, a first-degree misdemeanor; public indecency, a fourth-degree misdemeanor; menacing, a fourth-degree misdemeanor; criminal damaging or endangering, a second-degree misdemeanor.
– Tina Marie Carpenter, 55, 103 W. Montgomery St., Marietta; assault, a fourth-degree felony; resisting arrest, a second-degree misdemeanor; operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, a first-degree misdemeanor.
– Kyle Anthony Davis, 30, 111 W. Montgomery St., Lot 23, Marietta: having weapons under disability, a third-degree felony, with three specifications for the forfeiture of a weapon.
