The Marietta Trolley will return for the 2026 season beginning May 2, offering residents and visitors a guided way to explore the city’s historic landmarks and attractions.

The trolley will operate Saturdays in May at 10:30 a.m., with an expanded schedule throughout the summer and fall. Service will run Fridays and Saturdays in June, Tuesday through Saturday in July and August, Thursday through Saturday in September, and Fridays and Saturdays in October.

Tours depart at 10:30 a.m. from the Armory Visitor Center and last approximately 90 minutes. The trolley can accommodate up to 26 passengers and features narrated tours highlighting Marietta’s history, architecture and culture.

“The trolley has become a signature experience for our region,” said Shannon Beacham, marketing director for the Marietta-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau. “It’s more than a ride — it’s an introduction to Marietta and all it has to offer, and a welcoming way for visitors to connect with our community.”

Organizers say the seasonal attraction continues to draw both first-time visitors and returning guests looking for a convenient and informative way to see the city. The guided narration provides historical context about Marietta’s role as one of Ohio’s oldest settlements, along with information about notable buildings and local points of interest along the route.

Ticket prices are $17 for adults, $15 for seniors and $10 for children. Advance reservations are encouraged, as tours frequently sell out during peak travel months.

The trolley operates rain or shine. Guests are asked to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to departure to allow for boarding. On-site parking is available near the departure location, and bottled drinks are permitted on board.

Officials note that the trolley is not wheelchair accessible and requires passengers to climb three steps to board.
