VINCENT — The Warren Band Boosters held their 10th annual Spring Craft and Vendor Fair in support of the school’s music programs.
The event, part of a tradition that spans more than four decades of band booster fundraisers, featured a mix of handmade goods and commercial vendors, offering everything from crafts to household products and books. Unlike the group’s long-running fall fair, which focuses primarily on handmade items, the spring event blends both crafters and direct-sale vendors.
“We started doing a spring craft fair about 10 years ago, and it’s continued to grow,” said Stephen Collins, assistant band director and color guard director.
Funds raised during the event support a wide range of needs for the Warren band program.
“The band boosters cover travel costs, instrument purchases, instrument repairs, uniforms, flags,” Collins said, noting the group also helps offset costs for students attending programs such as the Bands of America Summer Symposium.

This year’s fair included approximately 141 vendor booths, with some occupying multiple spaces due to the size of their displays. Attendance varies depending on weather and other factors, but organizers estimate that on strong years, as many as 2,000 people pass through the doors.
Collins said the event’s success is driven in part by community support and returning vendors who have built a following over the years.
“We’ve got a very supportive community,” he said. “They show up, and they want to make sure that we’re supported and seen.”
Collins said the fair also serves as a social gathering space, with attendees able to shop, purchase homemade food items and spend time with family and friends on the school’s campus.
In addition to fundraising events like the craft fair, the Warren band program remains active throughout the year, with students participating in ensembles such as symphonic band, jazz band, pep band and winter guard, as well as competitions and performances that continue into the spring season. The band boosters will also host another craft show on Nov. 7.
