GriefShare program

The GriefShare program will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. today through Nov. 12, with a special program at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 19 called "Surviving the Holidays". This 13-week program will be offered at Gilman United Methodist Church, 312 Gilman Ave., Marietta. Each week, you will view a 30-minute video filled with helpful guidance, discuss grief-related issues, and gain personal recovery tips through your workbook. Belpre City School District meeting

The regular monthly meeting of the Belpre City School District will be at 5 p.m. today at the Stone Administration/Early Learning Center, 2014 Rockland Ave. Belpre. This meeting is to conduct the school district's business and is not to be considered a public community meeting. There is a time for public participation during the meeting as indicated in the agenda.

Washington County Harvest of Hope

Washington County Harvest of Hope will celebrate its 20th anniversary from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Masonic Park in Devola, featuring live music with Track 9, pulled pork BBQ from The Boathouse, games, OSU themed outdoor grill and a lottery board raffle and a 50/50 drawing. Advance tickets are $20 for adults, $12 for children ages 6-12 and free for children under 5. Adult tickets are $25 on the day of the event. Liver and onions dinner

A liver and onions dinner will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the VFW Post #5108, 319 Pike St., Marietta. A meal is $10 and includes liver and onions, mashed potatoes and gravy, creamed peas and a roll. For more information or for carry-out, call 740-374-9038.

Marietta City School BOE meeting

The Marietta City School District Board of Education will hold its regular August Board of Education meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday at 111 Academy Drive.

Fort Frye BOE meeting

The date of the regular August board meeting of the Fort Frye Board of Education has been changed to 6 p.m. Aug. 27, at Fort Frye High School, 420 Fifth Street, Beverly.

Steak fry

Beverly American Legion Post 389 will hold a public steak fry from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 29, at the Post Home, 114 Fifth St., Beverly. A meal includes steak, a baked potato, salad bar and a roll. The band AMIX will perform following the steak fry.

Smoked pulled pork dinner

Graysville and Community Volunteer Fire Department will hold a smoked pulled pork dinner at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 12, at 38851 Ohio 26, Graysville. The menu includes pulled pork, baked potato, baked beans, roll, dessert and drink, for $15 per person.

Zumba Classes

Zumba classes will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 11:30 a.m. Monday at the O'Neill Center. The cost is $5 per class or $25 for six classes. All ages welcome. For more information, call 740-373-3914.
