PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Assessor's Office is working on coming up with a dollar amount to request from County Commissioners to make up for a projected budget shortfall. Commissioners and Assessor John Kelly discussed the matter during Thursday’s regular meeting. Officials have discovered the office will be short around $357,000 in the Assessor’s Valuation Fund by the end of the current fiscal year on June 30, 2027.
