Belpre honors April students

Belpre High School recently named their April Students of the Month.

Selena Wiggins is the daughter of Leonard and Kathy Wiggins.

She is a teen volunteer at Camden Clark Hospital; she plays soccer at the Belpre Soccer Club. She is a member of Educational Talent Search, BHS AERO Club and HAPAC, the Interact Club and works part-time at Taco Bell. She attends Washington County Career Center in the Medical College Prep program and has passed the STNA requirement. She is an honor roll student. She also volunteers at her church with the American Red Cross and is an altar server. Future plans include finishing her nursing program and becoming a registered nurse to work in a nursing home and eventually in a major hospital.

Elijah Flowers is the son of Cassandra Flowers.

He is a football and baseball letterman for the Belpre Golden Eagles; he is in the BHS Number One Club and is a member of the Entrepreneurs Class at Belpre High School which will be in the upcoming PIO Biz competition. BHS placed first in their last competition and expects to do well again this year. Future plans include attending a trade school in an apprenticeship for electricians.
