¯ Dana E. Garvin, 58, of 3250 N. Center Bend Road, Beverly, was northbound on Ohio 60 in Center Township on June 13. Timothy R. Dodson, 29, of 4620 Township Road 130, Corning, was southbound on Ohio 60. A witness was stopped northbound on Ohio 60 waiting to turn left onto Ohio 266. A second witness was southbound on Ohio 60 behind Dodson’s 2019 Suzuki DR6505. Garvin failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead in his 2002 Dodge Caravan, swerved into the southbound lane of Ohio 60 to avoid striking the first witness and struck Dodson’s vehicle. Garvin was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead. Dodson was taken by Beverly Waterford EMS to Marietta Memorial Hospital with suspected minor injuries.

¯ Ryan Stanley, 34, of 604 Lee St. Apt. A, Belpre, was northbound on Ohio 83 in Center Township on June 13. He drove his 2012 Honda CBR250R off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.

¯ A three vehicle crash occurred June 14 on Ohio 550 in Barlow Township. The three vehicles were westbound on Ohio 550. Jared D. Willey, 45, of 1158 Schwendeman Road, Waterford, was stopped waiting to make a left turn onto County Road 2. Craig A. Sandy, 44, of 309 West Fourth St., Williamstown, stopped for traffic. Sydney C. Grueser, 23, of 45 E. Fourth St., The Plains, failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead with her 2008 Chevy Cobalt and struck Sandy’s 2007 Chevy Tahoe in the rear. Sandy’s vehicle was then pushed into the rear of Willey’s 2018 Ford F-250. Grueser was cited for not maintaining an assured clear distance ahead.

¯ Kirk Slider, 27, of 26935 State Route 7, Apt. 2A, Marietta, was northbound on Township Road 450 in Belpre Township on June 14. He drove his 2006 Ford F-150 off the right side of the roadway, striking a fence. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.

¯ Jacob D. Waterman, 18, of 2620 Archers Fork Road, New Matamoras, was eastbound on County Road 333 in Newport Township on June 14. He failed to negotiate a curve in his 2001 Ford Ranger. He slid off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.

¯ Aundria Renee Huntington, 26, of 72 Lakeview Blvd., Painesville, was southbound June 15 on Interstate 77 in Muskingum Township. She advised that an unknown vehicle forced her 2020 Hyundai Elantra off the roadway, where she struck the ditch line.

¯ Logan F. Offenberger, 17, of 959 Lancaster St., Marietta, was northbound on County Road 4 in Waterford Township on June 16. He failed to negotiate a curve in his 1995 Jeep Wrangler and drove off the right side of the roadway, striking an embankment before overturning. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.

¯ Kelsey Brooke Johnson, 23, of 45410 Carr Road, Coolville, was traveling westbound on U.S. 50 in Belpre Township on June 16. William David Crichlow, 41, of 14720 Fernway Ave., Cleveland, was stopped on the right shoulder. Crichlow made a u-turn on his 2013 Triumph Thunderbird, failing to yield and was struck by Johnson’s 2011 Ford Fusion. Crichlow was taken by Little Hocking EMS to Marietta Memorial Hospital-Belpre with possible injuries. He was cited for not yielding the right of way to traffic approaching on the roadway to be entered or crossed.

¯ Brady James Oberdier, 19, of 1283 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, was westbound June 18 on Township Road 239 in Fairfield Township. Anthony Stout, 39, of 1157 Walsh Road, Vincent, was eastbound on Township Road 239. Stout swerved his 1991 Dodge RD200/RD250 off the right side of the roadway to avoid a collision with Oberdier’s 2013 Ram 1500. Stout struck a tree and veered off the left side of the roadway before striking an embankment. No citations were issued.

Arrests/Washington County

The following individuals were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:

¯ Dalton Tyler Pickering, 27, of Stockport, was arrested for domestic violence, a felony.

¯ Kristina Dawn Kirkbride, 43, of Williamstown, was arrested for driving under suspension and probation violation, both misdemeanors.

¯ Robert Wayland Patterson, 38, of Belpre, was arrested for drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs, marijuana, all misdemeanors.

¯ Kirk Russell Slider, 27, of Marietta, was arrested for OVI, operating under suspension, driving under suspension and failure to control, all misdemeanors.

¯ Bryan Lee Eddy, 30, of Marietta, was arrested for two counts of assault, obstructing official business and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors.
