¯ A patrolman was dispatched Nov. 30 to 741 1/2 Greene St. in reference to a stolen Ducati motorcycle. This vehicle was entered into the Law Enforcement Automated Data System as stolen. The motorcycle was eventually recovered after it was burned up in a fire in Waterford.
¯ A patrolman was dispatched Nov. 30 to the Marietta mayor's office, 301 Putnam St., in reference to a fake bill. Upon arrival, it was learned that on Nov. 29, the Marietta Water Department had taken a $20 marked "copy money" on it. When the money was taken to the bank, it was learned the bill was a fake.
¯ A patrolman responded Nov. 30 to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting case. The man left the store prior to arrival. He has been identified and charges are pending.
¯ An officer was dispatched to 101 Pike St. in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, the officer conducted an investigation and subsequent follow-up, which resulted in a man being given a trespass warning not to return to the address.
¯ Units responded Dec. 1 to Marietta Memorial Hospital in reference to a disorderly patient. The patient, Shawn Eugene Covey, was arrested for disorderly conduct in a medical facility and assault on medical staff.
¯ Units were at Marietta Memorial Hospital on Dec. 1 in reference to a disorderly patient. While there, another patient refused to comply with the requests of both the officers and the hospital staff. Devonn Curtis was arrested for criminal trespass and transported to the Washington County Jail.
¯ A patrolman was contacted Friday by the Marietta High School vice-principal in reference to a juvenile cell phone sexting complaint.
¯ An officer investigated the theft of an HP laptop Thursday from a parked car at the Super 8 hotel parking lot.
¯ A patrolman was dispatched Friday to 415 Franklin St. in reference to an unruly juvenile complaint. During the investigation, it was learned that a 17-year-old girl had left the night before. The girl had gone to juvenile court Thursday for truancy. When the girl didn't return Friday morning, the caller reported the juvenile as a runaway. She was entered into LEADS and National Crime Information Center. The juvenile is still missing.
¯ An officer was dispatched Friday to the Marietta Police Department in reference to a complainant on station. Upon arrival, the officer learned that the complainant had parked his truck in his parking stall near Front and Butler streets. When he returned to his truck the following day, he found that someone had entered his truck and stole his Ruger 9mm handgun and TaylorMade golf clubs.
¯ An officer investigated the report Friday of the theft of a $120 Kicker car stereo from Walmart on Thursday.
¯ Marietta Police officers were dispatched Saturday to the 800 block of Second Street in reference to a stolen Chevy 2500 pick-up truck. The truck was located with heavy front end damage and was being driven by Teresa Knighten. It was also learned that Knighten used the truck to ram occupied vehicles multiple times at random in the 800 block of Third Street.
Teresa Ann Knighten was arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle and two counts of felonious assault.
¯ A patrolman was dispatched Sunday to McDonalds, 729 Glendale Road, in reference to an employee theft. Upon arrival and after investigation, it was found that a juvenile employee had taken $40 out of the register over two days. The case will be forwarded to the prosecutor's office and juvenile court.
¯ An officer stopped a vehicle Sunday for numerous traffic violations. The odor of raw marijuana was emanating from the vehicle and a probable cause search was conducted. Inside the vehicle, a small amount of suspected marijuana, scales and approximately 10 grams of suspected cocaine were located. Charges are pending the results of chemical testing.
¯ A patrolman began a theft crime investigation Monday in Marietta City Schools. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

¯ A deputy began an investigation Thursday into a juvenile being harassed by another juvenile. Charges for delinquency were filed in juvenile court.
¯ A sergeant began an investigation Thursday into a stolen Honda 4 Trax 4-wheeler from Grandview Township.
¯ A deputy began an investigation Thursday into a stolen vehicle from Dunham Township.
