¯ A patrolman advised on March 1 that a citizen had complained about an odor from a vehicle.
Officers made contact with the male occupant who was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A summons will be completed for the man to appear before the Marietta Municipal Court.
¯ A patrolman was contacted March 2 by the Marietta High School vice-principal in reference to a female student video recording another female student while she was changing in a bathroom stall.
¯ An officer was dispatched March 2 to Walmart in reference to two small children left in a vehicle unattended. Upon arrival, the officer discovered that a 6-month-old and a 2-year-old had been left unattended in a vehicle for 21 minutes.
As a result, a children services referral was completed and the suspect will receive a summons for two counts of child endangering.
¯ A patrolman responded March 2 to Sterling Service Center in reference to a theft of a motor vehicle.
During the investigation, it was determined that Devon Lee Taylor stole a 2005 Chevy Impala from the parking lot and then drove to Walmart in Marietta.
Taylor then walked to Reno, where he was later arrested with the assistance of the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
Taylor was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony.
¯ Units were dispatched Thursday to Harmar and Putnam streets in reference to a man puking on the sidewalk.
One of the officers found the man in the area, and after running his information, it was found he had an active warrant out of the Noble County Sheriff's Office.
He was also found to be in possession of possible heroin.
The suspected heroin was sent to BCI for further testing and charges are pending.
¯ A patrolman responded Friday to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting that had taken place.
Bridgette Nichole Ullman had failed to pay for scanned items totaling $188.09.
She was arrested for theft and released on her own recognizance.
¯ A patrolman investigated the report of a shoplifting Saturday from Lowe's on Friday.
The suspect made no attempt to pay for an Eco leaf blower, valued at $329 and walked out the front door.
When confronted by loss prevention, the suspect fled the area with the item.
¯ An officer investigated the report Saturday of a Texas license plate being stolen from a Ram truck in the parking lot at 200 Cherry Tree Lane between 6 p.m. Friday and the early morning hours of Saturday.
The plates have been entered as stolen.
¯ A patrolman conducted a traffic stop Sunday on a truck with fictitious plates. A search of the vehicle was completed and officers located drug paraphernalia.
A summons will be requested for the driver to appear for the drug paraphernalia charges.
¯ An officer was dispatched Sunday to 725 Second St. in reference to a girl's specialized bicycle being stolen off the front porch. This was recorded by the Ring home security system and the investigation is ongoing.

¯ A sergeant began an investigation Feb. 28 into subject(s) attempting to open accounts in another's name.
¯ A deputy began an investigation March 1 in Newport Township regarding the theft of a motor vehicle.
¯ A sergeant began an investigation March 1 into a failure to restrain a dog complaint in Wesley Township.
¯ A servant began an investigation March 1 into an assault in Dunham Township.
¯ A deputy began an investigation March 2 in Dunham Township of a dog running at large.
¯ A deputy began an investigation March 2 in Pioneer Township regarding a dog bite.
¯ A deputy began an investigation March 2 in Waterford Township regarding a dog running at large.
¯ Deputies located and arrested Carly Kaptis March 2 on an arrest warrant. A warrant from the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, was confirmed for Kaptis' arrests on charges of fleeing with reckless indifference.
Information on the warrant was compared with the information provided during the booking process, finding them to be a match. Kaptis, of 3307 Third Ave., Vienna, was charged with being a fugitive from justice.
¯ A deputy began an investigation March 2 into a dog bite in Warren Township.
¯ A deputy began an investigation March 2 into a storage building being entered in Belpre Township.
¯ A deputy issued citations for speed Thursday to: 75 mph in a 60-mph zone to Michelle M. Schultz, 48594 State Route 248, Long Bottom; 83 mph in a 60-mph zone to Lucas S. Campbell, 4208 Loop Road NW, Somerset; and 77 mph in a 60-mph zone to Ariyah D. Douglas, 637 Girard Avenue, Marion.

Arrests/Washington County
The following individuals were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:
¯ Lacie Lynn Faddis, 26, homeless, was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a felony.
¯ Kathryn Dallas Hornbeck, 21, of Belpre, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.
¯ Timothy Matthew Sampson, 30, of Marietta, was arrested fir aggravated robbery, breach of recognizance, both felonies, theft and fugitive from justice, both misdemeanors.
¯ Dustin Lee Brooks, 35, of Belpre, was arrested for theft, criminal trespassing, driving under suspension, contempt of court, and theft, all misdemeanors.
