¯ A deputy was dispatched April 8 to Dayton Road, Marietta Township, to a report of a stolen vehicle. The family had hired Donna Malone to be a caregiver for a family member. The family member was unable to make competent decisions and had given the vehicle to Donna Malone.
Upon completion of the investigation, a summons is being requested for Donna Jean Malone, 53, of 107 Vine St., Marietta, on a charge of theft by deception.
¯ While patrolling the intersection of Ohio 7 and Clement Avenue in Belpre April 8, deputies observed several criminal indicators of the male operator in a silver Ford Mustang with West Virginia registration. The registration was checked, coming back to Jordan M. Crouser, on a 2005 Mazda.
A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with Crouser. Crouser stated he had just purchased the Ford Mustang. Jordan M. Crouser, 20, of 105 36th St., Vienna, was issued a citation for fictitious license plate.
¯ A deputy was dispatched April 10 to a complaint of a male subject drinking in his car on Richwood Court, Belpre Township. A man was observed in the driver's seat operating the vehicle.
As deputies approached the vehicle, the driver, identified as Frazier Nyasulu, drove his vehicle into his driveway and into the garage. Nyasulu was having difficulty making sense of why deputies were there. A heavy odor of alcohol was detected, with him admitting to having two or three "tall boy" beers. Nyasulu agreed to submit to field sobriety testing, which he did very poorly.
Nyasulu was transported for a BAC test. The results came back as invalid entry and was marked as a refusal and Nyalulu was transported back to his residence.
A citation was issued to Frazier Wongani Nyasulu, 64, of 155 Richwood Court, Belpre, for physical control.
¯ A deputy was dispatched April 10 to Wesley Township to a report of Anthony Hill threatening another subject. It was reported that Hill drove his car into the rear of a subject's UTV earlier in the day in Athens County.
After completing the investigation, it was determined that Anthony Trent Hill, 32, of 1154 Patten Mills Road, Cutler, would be placed under arrest and charged with aggravated menacing.
¯ A deputy began an investigation April 11 into a stolen truck from Aurelius Township.
¯ Deputies were patrolling Ohio 821, Aurelius Township, April 11 when a vehicle was observed parked partially in the roadway. The vehicle was facing south in the north lane, with the vehicle running and the headlights on.
The man, identified as Tyler James Wittenbrook, had an odor of alcoholic beverages on his person, with bloodshot and glassy eyes. After conducting the investigation Wittenbrook, 21, of 128 Harmar St., Marietta, was placed under arrest and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, weapons while intoxicated, open container, and aggravated menacing.
¯ A deputy began an investigation April 11 in Liberty Township in reference to a reported theft of currency.
¯ Deputies were dispatched April 12 to Beach Drive, Belpre Township, to a report of "drunk Billy" pulling a knife on someone. Billy, aka: William Bartges, had left the area in his vehicle with an unknown individual. A traffic stop was conducted on Ohio 7 on the vehicle, finding Bartges inside.
Bartges denied pulling a knife on anyone however admitted to holding the knife in self-defense, being a green and purple knife, he currently had on him. After conducting the investigation, William Edward Bartges Jr., 49, Belpre, was arrested and charged with three counts of domestic violence.
¯ While patrolling April 12, a deputy encountered a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Ohio 7, Warren Township. The speed was confirmed by radar at 79 mph in a posted 60 mph zone. A citation was issued to Denver D. Hess, 87 Ash St., Williamstown, for speed.
¯ A deputy was dispatched April 13 to Ridgewood Boulevard, Belpre Township, to a report of an assault. Kirstin Miller came to the residence and had left prior to deputies arriving. The homeowners and Miller were at the residence and she got up and threw a beer can away and attacked an individual without provocation. Kirstin B. Miller, 38, Parkersburg, was later placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence.
¯ A deputy began an investigation April 13 into a breaking and entering and theft in Waterford Township.
¯ A deputy observed traffic violations April 13 while on patrol in Belpre Township. A citation was issued to Rylan E. Kadlecik, 21, of 4001 Oak Point Circle, McKees Rocks, Pa., for speed, 95 mph in a 60-mph zone; and Beverly E. Nichols, 53, of 700 Columbia Ave., Williamstown, 79 mph in a 60-mph zone.
Arrests/Washington County
The following individuals were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:
¯ Kirkland Michael Dennewitz, 26, of Racine, was arrested for sex offender failure to register address, a felony.
¯ Joseph Wayne Fowler, 24, of Marietta, was arrested for three counts of endangering children, aggravated menacing, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors.
¯ Anthony Wayne Kincaid, 30, of Beverly, was arrested for breach of recognition and theft, both misdemeanors.
¯ Matthew Edwin Deem, 41, of Belpre, was arrested for improper use of a certificate of title, grand theft of a motor vehicle, and five counts of tampering with records, all felonies.
¯ Brian Michael Abbott, 50, of Belpre, was arrested for two counts of domestic violence, both misdemeanors, and aggravated assault, a felony.
¯ Tara Renee Jenkins, 44, of Little Hocking, was arrested for probation violation and breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors.
¯ Clayton Lee Joy, 21, of Newport, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.
¯ Kenneth Estelle Haynes, 18, of Belpre, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
¯ Kirstin Brooke Miller, 38, of Parkersburg, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
