Reports/Ohio State Highway Patrol
¯ An unknown vehicle April 9 was eastbound on County Road 5 in Meigsville Township. It went off the right side of the road, struck a culvert, a fence, another culvert, another fence and re-entered the road.
¯ Hayley G. Snider, 17, of 3547 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, was westbound April 11 on Township Road 275 in Warren Township, attempting to make a left turn onto southbound Township Road 275. Aiyana S.O. Hancock, 17, of 21260 State Route 676 Unit 1, Marietta, was northbound on Township Road 275. Snider failed to yield the right of way from a stop sign in her 2005 Nissan Altima, and was struck by Hancock's 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt. Snider was cited for not yielding from a stop sign.

The following individuals were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:
¯ James Paul Farley II, 47, of Marietta, was arrested for assault, a misdemeanor.
¯ Shannah Maria Turpin, 27, of Marietta, was arrested for breaking and entering and theft, both felonies, and nonsupport of dependents.
¯ Benjamin David Cunningham, 37, of Waterford, was arrested for violating a protection order, a misdemeanor.
¯ Terry Brian Fox, 47, of Belpre, was arrested for breaking and entering, safecracking, vandalism, possession of criminal tools, failure to comply, assault, all felonies, possession of criminal tools, theft, criminal trespass, obstructing official business, failure to stop after an accident and operating a motor vehicle with an invalid plate, all misdemeanors.
¯ Vanessa Ann Goins, 37, of Amesville, was arrested for possession of drugs, a felony, and possessing drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor.
¯ William Earl Crothers III, 42, of Parkersburg, was arrested for driving under suspension, taillights, and fictitious plates, all misdemeanors.
¯ Jordyn Marie Menking, 30, of Parkersburg, was arrested for driving under suspension and contempt of court, both misdemeanors.
¯ Courtney Nichole Clayton, 29, of Belpre, was arrested for a probation violation, theft, possessing drug abuse instruments, criminal trespass and contempt of court, all misdemeanors.
¯ Tayona Dontera Mitchell, 44, homeless, was arrested for an OVI, a misdemeanor.
¯ Rhonda Deann Clark, 45, of Marietta, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor, and non-support of dependents.
¯ Michael Ryan Fortney, 25, of Waterford, was arrested for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a felony.
¯ Dustin Lee Brooks, 35, of Belpre, was arrested for OVI, driving under suspension and fictitious plates, all misdemeanors.
