¯ Cory A. Wogan, 30, of 5595 State Route 37, Malta, was westbound March 23 on Ohio 550 in Wesley Township. His 2013 GMC Sierra went off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it. Alcohol was a suspected factor in the crash.
¯ Richard K. Housel, 35, of 302 S. Chelsea St., Sistersville, W.Va., was westbound March 24 on Ohio 7 in Marietta Township. Richelle L. Scott, 30, of 44138 Forest Grove Ridge Road, Caldwell, was exiting the off ramp from Interstate 77 southbound to Ohio 7 eastbound. Housel failed to yield the right of way for a steady red traffic signal in his 2014 Ford F-150. He was struck by Scott's 2007 GMC Yukon, causing Housel's vehicle to overturn.Housel was cited for not obeying a traffic control device.
¯ A two-vehicle crash occurred March 25 on Ohio 821 in Muskingum Township. Beverly J. Paisley, 74, of 36611 Elm St., Lower Salem, and Melissa M. Pauley, 53, of 4661 Newark Road, Elizabeth, W.Va., were southbound on Ohio 821. Pauley's 2010 Chevrolet Impala was stopped for traffic, waiting to make a left turn onto I-77 southbound. Paisley failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead in her 2009 Toyota Camry, crossed the center line and sideswiped Pauley. Paisley was cited for not maintaining an assured clear distance ahead.
¯ Matthew L. Greer, 23, of 158 Warner St., Marietta, was southbound March 26 on Ohio 7 in Warren Township. He was turning eastbound on County Road 10 when he drove his 2014 Ford Fusion off the left side of the roadway and struck a right of way fence. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.
¯ Lynn M. Myers, 25, of 4385 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, was westbound March 26 on County Road 16 in Fearing Township. She failed to negotiate a curve in her 2013 Chevrolet Impala and traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a utility pole. She was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.
¯ Billie Jo Spencer, 48, of 458 Poplar St., Nelsonville, was eastbound March 26 on U.S. 50 in Belpre Township, while Gary Dale Owens, 63, of 1011 Power Ave., Parkersburg, was stopped at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Township Road 97. Owens failed to yield from the stop sign in his 2011 International Prostar and was struck by Spencer's 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche. Owens was cited for not stopping at a stop sign.
¯ James A. Carroll, 76, of 16 N. Plains Road, The Plains, was eastbound March 26 on U.S. 50 when he swerved his 2008 Buick LaCrosse to avoid the crash of Spencer and Owens at the intersection with Township Road 97. Carroll ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a traffic sign.
¯ Misty Dawn Mason, 36, of 691 Grindstone Drive, Marietta, was southbound March 27 on Ohio 339 in Watertown Township, while a 17-year-old Lowell resident was stopped at the intersection of Ohio 676 and Ohio 339. The teen failed to yield from the stop sign in her 2013 Chevrolet Cruze and struck Mason's 2012 GMC Acadia. The teen was cited for not yielding at a stop sign.
¯ Bradley Michael Pugh, 23, of 3930 Oak Hill Road, Stockport, was southbound March 28 on County Road 6 in Waterford Township. His 2007 Ford Focus went off the left edge of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.
¯ Yalana Diane Tuten, 45, of 139 Fourth St., Malta, was northbound March 29 on County Road 4 in Malta Township. Her 2003 Dodge Durango went off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert, a fence and a tree stump. She was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.
¯ Sandra S. Binegar, 61, of 1130 Bear Run Road, Reno, was southbound March 31 on County Road 9 in Lawrence Township. She was negotiating a right curve in her 2015 Ford Mustang when she crossed the centerline, drove off the left side of the roadway down a steep embankment and struck a tree. She was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.
¯ Ronald James Haught, 39, of 2659 Chestnut Lane, New Richmond, was westbound March 31 on U.S. 50 in Belpre Township. Tyler Ray Hutchinson, 27, of 964 Leachtown Lane, Walker, W.Va., was southbound on County Road 26. Hutchinson failed to yield from a stop sign in his 1998 Jeep Cherokee and struck Haught's 2015 Kia Sorento. Hutchinson was cited for not yielding at a stop sign.
¯ Clement Dale Barkman, 59, of 7283 W. State Route 669 NW, McConnelsville, was southbound April 1 on Ohio 339 in Watertown Township when his 2001 Dodge Ram caught fire. No citations were issued.
¯ Connie Sue Vaughn, 51, of 183 Fourth St., Lowell, was making a left turn April 1 onto Ohio 7 from County Road 20 in Marietta Township. Douglas J. Bosner, 56, of 24365 State Route 339, Lowell, was southbound on Ohio 7. Bosner failed to stop at a red light in his 2015 Chevrolet Silverado and struck Vaughn's 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Bosner was cited for not obeying traffic control devices.
¯ Brittany E. Condict, 31, of 903 Mitchell Ave., Apt. G, Beverly, was southbound April 2 on Ohio 60 in Adams Township. Her 2010 Honda Civic traveled off the right side of the roadway, striking and traveling on top of the guardrail. She struck a utility pole prior to flipping over the guardrail. She continued down a steep embankment into an open field, overturning before coming to a rest. She was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it. Alcohol, marijuana or other drugs are suspected factors in the crash.
¯ Casey Scot Leasure, 60, of 1111 Williamson Ave., New Matamoras, was southbound April 3 on Ohio 7 in Grandview Township. Gregory L. Earley, 62, of 1426 Earley Ridge Road, New Matamoras, was turning northbound on Ohio 7 from Township Road 1307. Earley failed to yield from a stop sign in his 2010 Chevrolet Silverado, striking Leasure's 2020 Ford F-150. Earley was cited for not yielding the right of way.
¯ Lawrence A. Moegling, 69, of 202 Bohl Drive, Marietta, was eastbound April 5 on Ohio 676 in Warren Township. A 17-year-old Marietta resident failed to yield from a private drive in his 2013 Chevrolet Impala, striking Moegling's 2020 Toyota Corolla. The teen was cited for not yielding from a place other than a roadway.
¯ A two-vehicle crash occurred April 7 on County Road 20 in Marietta Township. Thomas William Hoff, 74, of 116 Bel Aire Drive, Marietta, and Connie Molden, 52, of 245 Cornerville Road, Marietta, were eastbound on County Road 20. Hoff came to a stop at a red light, while Molden failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead. Molden's 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee struck Hoff's 2016 Toyota RAV4 in the rear. Molden was cited for not maintaining an assured clear distance ahead.
